Read the Official Alicia's Christian Academy's Student Handbook in its entirety from top to bottom. There will be an Entrance Exam on it, so take notes. All students must complete the exams with at least an 80 to pass. If you get 79 and under, you must retake the exam until you pass.

Official Alicia's Christian Academy Handbook

BEFORE the student registers, enrolls or applies to our academy, ask the student's future colleges/universities/jobs if they accept homeschools. Alicia’s Christian Academy is a non-accredited Texas Private Homeschool Academy, and that we are not required by the Texas Homeschool Laws to be accredited. We will not be held accountable for the student not getting into these schools/jobs!

School Name: Alicia's Christian Academy

School Type: Online Texas Christian-based homeschool operated as a Texas Private Homeschool Academy

Founded by: Dr. Alicia Jennings, DD (Doctorate in Divinity)

Founded: 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas in 2001.

We abide by the Texas Education Code Ann. § 25.086(a)(1) and § 51.9241 and state of Texas standards that our students receive the equivalent of a nontraditional secondary education.

“Nontraditional secondary education” means “a course of study at the secondary school level in a non-accredited private school setting, including a home school.”

Our curriculum: Perfect Help Created By: Dr. Porsha White, DD.

Mission Statement: To give a second chance to driven students who are willing to put an effort into earning their high school diploma.

Our Motto: It's never too late to graduate.

The types of students we DO accept:

Getting a high school diploma will open up many opportunities, including getting into college to obtain a degree and getting a better job.

Types of students we DON'T accept:

Note: The student must be a US Citizen and Texas resident or have legal permission by law to attend school in Texas (example: have a student visa, work visa, or another type of legal visa).

Note: If the student is not saved but wants to learn about Christ, either obtain a relationship with Christ first or join a Christian church. The student must be a Christian first before becoming a student.

IMPORTANT: Keep a folder for each attending student with their names clearly marked on the front so that the student will always have proof of verification and enrollment with our academy. In this folder, the student or parent will keep all documents, notes, payment receipts, and anything else from our school and the previous school.

Law enforcement may ask for verification/proof of enrollment if a child is under the age of 18 and is roaming the streets during school hours of M-F, 8 AM-3 PM. The student’s job, SNAP/WIC/Medicare/Medicaid/Government Assistance Programs, or any Texas official may also ask.

Our Diploma is a REAL High School Diploma (not a GED (not that there’s anything wrong with that)) and can be used for most colleges/universities/jobs. We offer a 24/7 online program that will specifically suit the student's needs.

We have a list of colleges/universities that the student can choose from that will accept the academy and the student without issues. We will only allow students who are planning to go to the public and private community colleges/universities/jobs that accept homeschoolers.

Parents/Legal Guardians are responsible for 51% and must sign documents with students ages 16-17 years old. Students 18 and up are responsible for themselves.

By registering at Alicia’s Christian Academy, the student (and/or the Parent/Legal Guardian) understands and agrees to all of the terms, conditions, and agreements and takes full responsibility/liability for breaking/violating the terms.
