Step 1 Read the ENTIRE Official Student Handbook from top to bottom.
Step 2 Download and fill out the Intent to Enroll/Withdrawal Request Form.
Step 3 Withdraw the student (If under 18) from their previous high school. Use our Intent to Enroll/Withdrawal Request Form to request a copy of the previous school's withdrawal form.
NOTE: We need the previous school's completed and signed withdrawal form to prove that the parent or student informed them that they were being homeschooled in our academy and that they were officially withdrawn from the previous school.
Step 4 Complete the Registration Application. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Step 5 Complete the Entrance Exam (passing grade is 80 and above). The exam will be based on the handbook and FAQ.
Step 6 Email aliciaacademy@gmail.com a picture of the previous high school's withdrawal form (if the student is under the age of 18), previous high school's transcript (if the student is under the age of 18), the student's SSN card (all students), Drivers License/ID card (all students). Email subject line: (Student's Name) Alicia's Christian Academy File Upload.
After we receive all the required documents and the application, we will enroll the future student in our academy. All previous steps must be completed first before you receive an official student letter confirming that the student will be attending our academy.
Step 7 The student will officially become a student once enrollment is completed.
Step 8 Wait for the official welcome email from us. It will be titled "Welcome to Alicia's Christian Academy". Follow the instructions on the letter and text 817.495.3860 Porsha, if you have any questions or if you are unsure about what to do next.
Step 9 Once the student completes all coursework with at least C or above average and the tuition is paid in full, the student will be finished for the time being.
Step 10 Between January 2-February 15, we will check to see if there are any unfinished or unsatisfactory assignments. Even if you're done with everything, check the website frequently for any new assignments that may appear.
Step 11 After we finish grading and determine that you've paid in full and all coursework is satisfactory, you will receive a graduation letter confirming that you are on the graduate list. Please carefully check your name and spelling.Â
NOTE: The student's name on the diploma will be EXACTLY as it appears on the student's social security card. If you see that the student's name on their social security card is misspelled or incorrect, please update your card with the Social Security Administration office first and give us a copy of the official letter of that change so that the student's name can be legally corrected. The student's name on the diploma will be legally what's on file with the Social Security Administration office.
Step 12 Receive your diploma at graduation. Attending, walking, and participating in the graduation is mandatory. No-Shows will be charged the full tuition price of $866.
