Tuition Payment 817.495.3860
If I'm a No-Show, does that mean that I pay an additional $866?
If you had already paid in full then you would be paying only a reminder balance. Example: If you paid $649.50, then the remainder balance would be $216.50.
What if I need my diploma and/or transcript before the graduation date?
We will not release the student’s diploma or transcript until the student has officially graduated from our academy (this means participating and walking to receive them in your hand). Use the official student verification letter that was sent to the student/parent when the student was officially enrolled (If it's misplaced, you can request another one).
Note: The verification letter will have personal information, so we will need the signed Consent to Release Form giving us permission to release the student’s information. This ensures the law that we are protecting the student's rights, the student’s information, and the student from identity theft or from other harmful situations.
Will my college/university/job accept my diploma from your academy?
BEFORE you register or enroll, ask them (the college/university/job) directly do they accept homeschoolers. This is important! Make sure to put on their application that you are a homeschooler once you have officially graduated from Alicia's Christian Academy. We have no control over their policies about homeschoolers or whether they accept you or not.
We make no guarantees that they will accept you. However, many schools accept it. Public colleges/universities such as (but not limited to): Tarrant County College, UTA, and others have accepted the diploma in the past.
How does your school work?
Everything (except the graduation) is online. You can go at your own pace as long as you complete everything on or before the due date (see handbook for important dates). If you need more time, let us know ahead of time so that we can make adjustments to your time.
What's the class schedule?
You (or preferably your parents) will set your own schedule. The coursework is open 24/7, except during Summer break. You can go at your own pace as long as you complete everything on or before the due date (see handbook). If you need more time, let us know ahead of time so that we can make adjustments to your time.
When will I know my grades?
We will check the grades between January 2-February 15, give us time to grade as we will have many students to grade that day. We have to manually grade the assignments, so it may take some time.
Can I graduate early?
No. We only rent the building for graduation once a year. Due to the costs, prep time, and organization needed, there would need to be at least twenty or more graduates for us to consider another ceremony.
What ages do you accept?
We accept ages 16 and up (students aged 15, must be at least 16 and up before or on graduation day).
What if something comes up on or around the graduation day? I'm scared about this No-Show fee.
Call or text Porsha 817.495.3860 if some serious life-threatening, hospitalization or something similar happens around graduation day with proof that you have. We will review the proof you give us and we'll determine if this is serious enough for you to miss graduation.
NOTE: We don't approve of reasons such as: trips, visiting someone out of town, work, or similar. Because we feel that these could be planned or changed ahead of time. Make sure as soon as you know that your name is on the graduation list to put in time off from work ahead of time and that your trips or visits don't overlap with the graduation (it's always the first Saturday in May, unless otherwise stated.)
